That pipe should go to the power steering pump idle up valve, these valves tend to leak so get removed and the pipes going to it plugged so I would find a suitable bolt and sealant and do the same.

Hello, I'm based in the UK and own 2 1994 Celsiors ( did have a 1997 one as well until recently) Sorry can't help with parts in Australia.

If I remember correctly there is no seal as such, the windscreen is bonded to the frame so after removal it needs to be professionally refitted.

Sounds pump related, you can get a full rebuild kit from Lexus/Toyota for around $50.00.add another $30.00 if you also want to replace the bearing but this is normally OK.

You should be able to get hold of the factory manual on CD ROM for a few $$ from that well known internet auction site, this should have the factory proceedures for alignment and testing.

Check the plugs they should be NGK Iridiums ( good for 100K) other plugs have been known to cause running problems.

Favourite is the ignition coil mounted down the passenger side of the engine opposite the battery tray, also check the routing of the wire from the coil to the distributor cap as if not fitted correctly it can be damaged by the covers. If you are planning on replacing all the ignition components it should sort the problem. Another indication of a failed coil is the cats will glow red after a short drive, don't leave things too long as they will suffer damage.

There was a fantastic Toyota/Lexus database online that included all part numbers and exploded diagrams including the Celsior and Soarer which had to be removed after Toyota threatened legal action.

I've never heard of one completely missing before! I have some spare ones and would have sent you one for the cost of the postage if you had asked. Yes the seats are plug and play, I don't know if the velour seats you have in at the moment are heated and even some of the leather ones aren't ( mine aren't) but the rest of the plugs and sockets should match straight up. I would disconnect the battery before disconnecting the plugs under the seat as there are airbag detectors in there. The seat mountings will be the same but leave the battery connected until you have removed the seat mounting bolts as you will have to move the seat forwards and backwads to get to them all.

You 1st need to read the fault codes for the ABS which will point you in the right direction, a failed wheel sensor is the most likely problem but checking the codes will confirm. Follow the instructions to the letter. http://www.lexls.com...odereading.html

On the 1993 model there are sensors on each wheel and in the UK they cost over £45.00 each so as advised above remove the sensor head ( the black plastic bit that clips into the pad) and then join the 2 wires together and tape up out of the way. This will remove the warning light but of course you will have to check the pad wear regularly as he warning system will no longer work.
