  1. indeed it doese look like thats the one :D thanks very much sir
  2. I really like this lip...but i have no idea who makes it. Does anyone here know? http://img123.ac.yahoo.co.jp/users/1/7/6/2...542ararute1.jpg
  3. lift out the bottom or the rear seats undo the 4 10mm bolts holding the rear seat back's lift the rear seat back up as far as you can and pull toward the front (you may need to undo the middle seatbelt to do this) Remove the upper C pillar trim Lift upthe rear lid and unplug the 3rd brake light pull it out
  4. the reason i disagree is because it isnt possible in my car. I would agree whole heartedly if i could do it but my car cannot do 180kmh in 3rd. What wheels and tires are you guys running?
  5. lol...fat chance im on the other side of the world im talking about an RS200 Altezza...not a clue what car you guys are on about 1st gear @ 7750rpm with stock 215 45 17 tires 45mph or 72kmh 2nd gear @ 7750rpm with stock 215 45 17 tires 64mph or 102kmh 3rd gear @ 7750rpm with stock 215 45 17 tires 88mph or 140kmh 4th gear @ 7750rpm with stock 215 45 17 tires 114mph or 182kmh 5th gear @ 7750rpm with stock 215 45 17 tires 139mph or 223kmh 6th gear @ 7750rpm with stock 215 45 17 tires 160mph or 256kmh
  6. i really find that hard to believe. Considering i have to change from 4th to 5th @ 180kmh
  7. you cannot do 180kmh in 3rd...i hope you meant 4th gear. Unless you have supidly high rev limit.
  8. that sucks. I can understand why though. I dont really use it unless i plan on driving hard.
  9. i must say that if you consider installing a racing seat do the harness' at the same time. You will feel so much more connected with the car. No falling when you brake hard and no sliding out the sides of the seat when you corner. How ever you do have quite a bit of reduced mobility. I couldnt shut the door when i was strapped in. You cant look over your shoulder so your rear veiw mirrors become that much more important. The harness keeps you from slouching or leaning forward so you are always in a good driving position.
  10. Yet another part raped from my race car (the passenger harness). I havent put in the anti submarine belt due to lack of time. I used the rear center seat belt mounting point to secure the shoulder harness' and the rear seat mounting points for the lap belt. Hopefully this will keep me in the cobra a little better than the stock belt did. I still have the stock belt incase i have any rear passengers. I havent gotten a chance to test it out...but i will in the morning on the way to work...mmmmm roundabouts @ 530am ;)
  11. Takakaira is having a deal on power FC's at the moment 98000yen and thats WITH the controller :D
  12. VVTi is nothing like VTEC. The dual VVTi we have is controlled by the ecu and it is constantly (least from my understanding) adjusting the cam timing to the optimal position. They dont work by just turning them on or off.
  13. the reason is because the altezza cams have one profile and not 2. If you put some Toda or TRD cams in your 3sge you will hear a similar sound at high revs
  14. Actually yes it does.. VTEC does create a larger valve overlap.. it's just not continuously variable like iVTEC is... the over lap changes between the cam profiles. If you look at VTEC cam gears or pulleys you will see they are not adjustable like the iVTEC or VVTi ones. thats what i mean. VTEC does not have variable cam timing. VTEC has 2 cam lobes with profiles for each pair of valves on the same cam. Of course the specs will change between the different lobes, that is the point of the technology. But the ECU cannot variate the timing of the cams.
