  1. I took my 2007 LS460 to Lexus Brisbane this week because it was showing a series of fault lights, including a message to "take it to dealer" for a VGRS fault. They ran a test and told me they could not clear the fault lights, and I needed a replacement steering rack which they could get from Japan. Retail cost A$8544 plus A$885 labour and wheel alignment. After researching the topic on the internet I decided to get a second opinion and took the car to All Torque Automotive in Stafford, Brisbane, a small workshop recommended by a friend. There, Stuart, the owner/mechanic hooked the LS460 to his diagnostic gear and, after two attempts, managed to clear the fault lights and restore the car to normal operation. Needless to say, Stuart will be getting all my business from now on. (I have no relationship or financial involvement whatever with All Torque Automotive.)
  2. My LS460 owned for 6 years, after a LS430 for 5 years. Haven’t noticed a suspension rebound problem in any of the settings. Just a rattle/klonk from the LH front. Had bushings replaced, but no real improvement.
  3. Lexus brisbane quoted me $8K for 2 fronts. I find the "klonk" is minimised in "sport" mode. Would love to hear if anyone has a reasonable solution too.....
