  1. Something over 130k. Pure luxury and performance. Absolutely stock. Nothing available that comes close to my needs.
  2. Hi Mark I have a 2008 ISF. I had fitted oversize Pirelli tyres to it and the ride was harsh. Recently I went back to standard size Toyo tyres and the car is transformed. Better handling and firm not harsh. It is truely a luxury touring car that I use for my every day drive. And I have the RX350 for mild off road, and transporting the mother inlaw.
  3. With careful driving from Canberra to Goulburn I once got 6.7 l/100. On super 98%. Normal drive on open road under 9 l/100 Around town with some fun. 11-14 l/100
  4. I am running falken 275/30/19 rear 245/35/19 front Best for same rolling diameter, legal and look good
  5. Sport mode should get the car to operate in the higher performance mode. I would suspect the stability control would take away from the control by the driver, so you will have to try on the day but I think stability control off.
  6. Drive to your own level. You have nothing to prove. The Ferrari, Porsche and BMW drivers are likely wan...s anyway with all pose and little driving ability. You have a great car, track tyres (slicks) could take several seconds off your lap time, if your going sideways your not going fast. Learn the corners, brake points and be consistent. Steer hard to get into the right place for corner entry and most of all maximise your corner exit speed. Attached photo, my Golf GTI I would love to have a go myself, I am waiting to get back to Wakefield near Goulburn to get the feel of the car driven hard.
  7. Hi Ultra Most people involved in motor sport will tell you tyre size is very important. And size doesn't count, matching the rim does, as well as geometry etc. I went for bigger tyres because they look better. I suspect the handling is not as good, less grip in the wet, on and on. But I don't race the car. If I was racing I would make different choices. The bottom line is that you can rarely use the potential of the IS-F on the public road, that is and not kill yourself or someone else. Yes cynical I know. Any other thoughts????
  8. I did a bit of research and found a tyre that has the right roll diameter and same tread back and front. I put on Falken F452's 275 30 19 on the rear and 245 35 19 on the front. They tell me they are noise but I haven't noticed any problems yet. Fitted and balanced, for all 4, $1020.00. They do not come anywhere near the guards.
  9. They tell me that the mixture is very lean at idle to reduce fuel consumption. Mine is a little rough and variable in idle speed as well.
  10. I will also have to withdraw because of work. Sorry Epicureran
  11. Yes, I think it would be more of a partners day. I am still OK for the 31st. Epicurean.
  12. I am ok for the 31st March. Over to you.
  13. What about Wisemans Ferry. Good restaurants open, and a great drive home for the Sydney people if you go via the reefy over to the expressway, or visaversa.
  14. I would be interested in coming, the old fat bald bloke in the fast car. What a cliche.
