  1. Used roughly 10K km's and is in excellent condition with no damage at all. $2100 ONO - pick up only. Low ballers will be ignored, don't even try. Located in Sydney, Rhodes.
  2. Bayson R Lip Cheap ebay lip, but fits great and is cheap enough to toss in the bin when you are done scraping the crap out of it.
  3. I got the exact same wheels in these specs: 20X9 +40 245/35 20X10 +45 275/30 Fronts I could have actually gone a bit more aggressive and it would still be fine. I suggest maybe +35 if you want it to be a bit more flush but +40 to play it safe (+40 actually looks fairly good already). Rears are at the VERY LIMIT without any fender modifications and is PERFECT fitment with ZERO rubbing whatsoever even when hitting dips at high speed. I now have a bit more clearance even, after a new alignment. Only very slight rubbing I have is the front when reversing on a non flat surface when the wheel is turned to the right, but if I reverse slowly it won't rub either. But that is also due to my setup being 20's so you should be safe with 19's.
  4. I had a new GS250 as a loan car and it had the new Mark Levison in it. My god it sounded fantastic!!! Bass was deep and audio was super crisp and sharp. I think they realised how *BLEEP* the ML system is in our ISF's and did something about it for the new Lexus line up's.
  5. Only have my 2011 as reference, but yes it does sound a bit average. Have to crank the volume up all the time.
  6. Thanks ISFBloke, got your PM. Will shoot you a message and see if we can meet up in about a weeks time when I am back in Sydney. To be honest, the Borla in your video's sounds very sedate and is not all that loud (which is a good thing). My previous car was probably about 3-4 times as loud, so you can imagine why I am asking to see how loud the Joe Z is exactly. Definitely keeps that big 8 rumble Thanks.
  7. I can manage some drone, just not excessive all the time like my previous car. Was considering the Borla, but just wasn't sure if it was aggressive enough as I thought it was only little bit louder than stock. ISFBloke, where bouts in Sydney are you? Thanks.
  8. Sorry, I have one on order from Chatswood Lexus that is arriving in the next 2 weeks and it's only costing me a little bit more than the price you have quoted @2000 USD. Thanks anyway.
  9. My excess is also around the $2k mark. Way I see it is I will only make a claim in an incident where it's a huge repair bill or write off. In all my years of driving I have made very little claims and where the repair bill was under $2k (like a scratched bumper) I would just pay it out of pocket because in the long run it is going to work out cheaper for me based on my accident history. If you are a terrible driver and make lots of claims then it makes sense to lower your excess with a higher policy premium as a trade off.
  10. Hi, Was wondering if anyone in Sydney has a Joe Z exhaust on their car that I can have a listen to? Loud and droning wouldn't have been an issue a few years back when I was still rolling around in buzz box ricer rocket ships :P , however with age I just cannot stand excessive droning anymore. Many thanks.
  11. I never sell my stock parts.
  12. Hi all, Wanted to see if anyone has a second hand Joe Z exhaust they want to sell before I go and order one from Chatswood Lexus. Thanks.
  13. rsith, Check out the first post of the blue F with Weds SA67R http://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-f/644144-aftermarket-isf-wheel-thread-3.html He is running 19x9 +35 245/35/19 and 19x10 +42 275/30/19. I PM'd him and he said he has 0 rubbing issues and did no fender modifications at all. I think if you want a +35 offset it should be ok if you don't go too wide on your tire selection.
  14. Looks good What size tyres are you running and any rubbing at all?
  15. Also, have you actually checked to see if there is any pad left? If the pads are worn then the indicator pin will cause constant squeaking indicating new pads are in order.
  16. Just have to live with the fact that it will make some noise more or less, especially if you are on OEM Brembo pads due to the excessive dusting. I changed to Project Mu pads and they squealed like a pig in heat at first. After a proper bed in and driving around for a bit more, it now has minimal squeaking. If you are always in stop start traffic then I suggest you do a brake bed in once in a while or just give the brakes a good stomping and then high pressure all the dust out. I bet with your constant start stop traffic driving, the pad material on the rotor is getting worn off which in my case was the culprit so now I just stomp on the brakes regularly. Good read: http://www.stoptech.com/technical-support/technical-white-papers/bed-in-theory-definitions-and-procedures/stock-brake-system-bed-in
  17. Hey Matty, Yes I am still quite happy with these pads. Also yes I got the Type NS, but I believe there is now a Type NS400 which does not have the cut out for the wear sensors (which our cars do not have) so gives a bit more pad surface. I got them through a re-seller here in Sydney, but you can choose to buy directly from PMU AU if there is no re-seller in NT: http://www.project-mu.com.au/en/products/pad_ns.php They are progressively making less and less noise now. Basically if I have driven the car for a day and accumulated a bit of dust it will squeal when cold. Once I give it a good foot or 2 it quietens down and will make minimal noise overall. The 90% reduction in dust is a trade off I am willing to make if it squeals a bit here and there. Then again, from memory the OEM Brembo pad's made noise anyways, except they made my wheels all brown and a major PITA to clean. Vincent.
  18. Hey, Haven't done the swap to LED fog lights but judging by the US guys who have done it, it only looks marginally brighter.
  19. http://is.sewellparts.com/accessories-catalog/Exterior/ISF-2014/6549.html Club Lexus discount for Sewell: http://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-f/689123-looking-for-promo-codes-from-lexus-sewell.html
  20. Read this thread: http://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-f/716585-my-before-after-pics-with-the-2014-led-fog-lights.html The MY14 ISF comes with LED fog lamps and they are direct plug and play with older model ISF's. It is replacing the whole fog light and not just the bulb. Fairly cheap at $113USD each side from Sewell in the States. As for installation just lifting the front plastic inner wheel guards is enough space for you to gain access to do the switch over (Clips and screws). The whole fog light is held in with just 1 screw, pretty easy job.
  21. Yes, I put these in about 600-700 km's ago. First 500 km's I didn't really notice that much noise at all so I thought sweet!!! Then all of a sudden it started squealing like a pig in heat when at low speeds, especially coming to a stop. It was extremely annoying and a bit embarrassing as well whilst in traffic . I got my mechanic to take out the pads then clean, re-grease and sand down the pads+rotors. Right now it seems to have gone back to normal with just a little bit of noise which is expected on these brakes. I basically had to do a very hard bed in process and it has solved the problem *touch wood*. I admit I do try and take it too easy on the car sometimes so I do brake very lightly which could have been a contributor to pad material not transferring onto the rotor hence causing the excessive amount of squealing. Performance wise just for street\spirited driving it performs great and I can't tell a difference compared to the stock Brembo pads. Only main difference is that there is about 90% less dust which is a HUGE difference.
  22. Yea Danny I know anything other than stock won't pass the test. But as a big dealer selling something they know won't pass an EPA inspection, wouldn't they be liable (if it was installed by them, which for mans247's case it is not)?
  23. So you did buy it from them? Did they make you sign a waiver before selling it to you stating they are not responsible for any fines etc? If not, I would make them take it off and put back on free of charge.
