  1. HI guys. New here. I just snagged a celsior for the motor and interior but after getting it home I realise its a !Removed! beautiful vehicle and have decided to get it on the road. Day one, no power. Previous owner had removed an aftermarket sound and lighting setup and did NOT bother to put it back together. I sorted it out and now it cranks fine. However the keyfob is pretty well screwed and messes with the immobilizer. Now I have it cranking and all interior electrics are working, including the massage seats which I thought would have been out of action by now. The issue I have now is there is no fuel. No fuel pump prime that I can hear. I am new to these cars but I have searched forums and can only find forums that are left open ended as the op's nearly never post the resolutions they find if any at all. I located the fuel pump relay in the front right ( a lone yellow relay under its own cover ( 4 parallel pins)). It was coroded so I cleaned it with contact cleaner. No go.. Used a multimeter and battery tester to check the relay socket, no power to be found. ANy tips would be greatly appreciated.
  2. So they dont have a website? I think ill have a crack at making my own. Doing the exhaust myself anyway. Whats a little more work
  3. THanks for the reply, However it does not really fit my question lol
  4. Hey guys, Im tossing up between an ls400 and the gs300. Both will suit me fine as Im not looking to go too far on either as far as mods go.. I have searched and found many old threads with dead links, but I would really like to source a set of headers for an ls400. Anyone have any luck findig them in Aus, or is it always the used import market or nothing.
  5. Not likely a gasket. It could be the starter motor becoming a bit old. Also have someone test,m or use a different battery. Ive had many a battery show these symptoms whilst I was blaming other parts. Its not fuel, as that wouldn't stop it from cranking, just starting. So certainly test the ignition system, chech the wiring and fuzes, battery and ensure there is no power steering leak above the alternator..My bet is battery or starter.
  6. Hi there guys. Been lurking as Ive been talking myself into buying a 91 LS400 and have finally pulled the trigger. Purchased a 91 LS400, 280k kms. Brand new XYZ coilovers new starter motor, brand new tyres, ECU was ent to the usa for refurb, but we will see what good that actually does. Things I noticed that the car needs is new paint (just going to copper plati-dip til I buy the tools) small dings repaired, new belt, some interior tlc. THe exhaust is surface rusted to the nines. Other than that its not a bad car and 2k was what I was willing to pay. Would love to hear about anything I should be looking out for, 80k til timing belt is due again.
