So last night I managed to dent the back of my 08 is250. Looking at the damage I was wondering if I could fix it myself, or if I need to take it in, and if so how much it would end up costing

It's going to take quite a bit of plunging to get rid of it, but i'll work at it.

and yes, seeing as I've mistreated my car enough, I will ensure that I will use a new plunger

just remember that the paint on the lexus is very soft. if there are no scratches on the car the dent removal guys can do with easy assuming that he can get a little access behind the panel. (thats my 2 cents)

I hit a garage wall on the same spot and had to get it repainted.....regret it to this day (damn you capital SMART)

Thank god that the post was painted, so the paint scratched onto the upper layer of the car paint and it was easy to wipe off
