I do recommend f sport products.

tell lexus miami to make sure invoice is under $1000 , so you can avoid duty!

F-Sport intake is my favourite mod. I only have 3 mods though

Out of the replies 3 have said their intake. Pity I'll need to wait over 2 weeks until I'm home to fit mine at least it should be there by then :) .

Can anyone tell me how long it normally takes to get parts from Lexus of Miami?

plus i havent done anything much to the car anyway

Intake then blacked out rear reflectors are my fav "mods" i've done

you can get away with it cuz it is technically its boxed

unless you start taking off the front radiator cover off

I've just recently got my F-Sport intake from Lexus of Miami and it took less than a week to be delivered. Now I'm looking forward to having the intake installed as well as the F-Sport Grill insert, Carbon Fibre grill surround and other little bits and pieces to my SL :)

I was told by a guy who does engineering certificates for cars that the reason that some intakes are illegal.

It's due to the paper/ oil element exposed in the engine bay which is a potential fire hazard if it's not boxed or enclosed properly.

Yep, and the F-Sport is completely sealed unlike the others.

Have just placed the order via Lexus of North Miami.

Now just have to wait for it to get to Oz!

It looks like a pretty easy install, has anyone had any experience with it and were there any dramas?

nope no dramas

just becarefull to unclip the secureing pins on the stock airbox

as u need it to put it on the F sport intake

you can break the joints on your stock box if you force them out

I enjoy the 5zigen exhaust most of the time just the way it sits nicely in the bumper & the way it sounds, untill going up hills. Then the fsport intake when doing some spirited driving!

Man... i hate reading through forums as it really makes me itchy to get more mods done! Next on the to-do list prob HIDs

15 mins should be all the time you need.

done in about 30, pretty easy

no difference at low revs, but loud when under more loads in revs.

will head out for a drive 2morrow to test it out...
