Hi Guys,

Iam new to this forum and i am looking for some help regarding an issue i have with my 2003 Rx330. The issue has been happenning for the last 3 years.

While driving between 20km and 40km the car will not accelerate even though the accelerator pedal is pressed. It will hesitate for approx 2-3 seconds before it decides to acctually

respond to the accelaration. I have taken it to Lexus and they have update the firmware in the Transmission computer and the fault is still there.

If They reset the computer the issue disappears for approx 6 months and it rears its ugly head again.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue ? I would really love to hear from you.

hmmm how many kms does it have on it. Have they tried the electronic throtle controller from pedal to unit?

It has done 156,000 KMS. it has had the transmission rebuilt because of a failure. They have also checked the Electronic throttle control at the pedal.

Finally after a few years of heart ache Lexus have admitted that it is an Inherent problem with all RX330's. Have you or anyone else experienced this issue?
