Limited74
Hi all I have just bought my first Lexus LS400 and it seems like a great car all round and very good value for money. I have a problem with the SRS warning light being on. We have plugged a fault de coder in to the car and it says that there is a warning light circuit problem. I do know that the front seat was out of the car not too long ago and maybe something was disturbed or not reconnected maybe ? Does the fact that the light is on disable the Airbags and belt pre tensioners. Would appreciate any thoughts on this. Sean
steve2006
Hello, Sorry I don't come onto the Au forums very often but check all the seat connections, also has the dash been out recently? The link below should help reset the system providing there are no actually faults present. http://www.lextreme....irbaglight.html Also the pre October 1994 model uses OBDI diagnostics so no code reader is needed for the codes, the link below shows how to get the codes for all systems using a paper clip! If your car has a non gated shifter ( in other words it just goes backwards and forwards) it will be this model http://www.lexls.com...odereading.html
