Gs300 Keys 1512V From Uk, 2000 Model

I was quoted $600 for a new key, which i thought was a bit rich.

anyways I found blanks from the UK for $100 AUS.

Just wondering if these work for our model as well?

well i last time i tried this for the IS250

i heard the frequency of the keys are different?

might be worth a try though 100 bucks iant that much compared to 600

buddy.. ebay has keys from $6... get them cut at ur local locksmith for $25 and slap the central locking unit in it from your old broken key.. presto.. $31 for a new key.. ive done 5 for my dads gs300 over the last year.. and if it needs to be programmed just take the key to lexus and they did it for free for me..

now i own a is200 and i did the exact same thing (share the same key)..

Would you happen to know if they also share the same transponders? (since i need the whole new key)

they have the exact same central locking unit.. but i dont know if you can recode an is200 one to suit a gs300.. even though they look identical..
