samsung001
Hi guys, am not sure if my IS has the steering problem. The steering is now very very light. It has started since Monday. There is no warning light and oil leaking at all. Also, no change for the typre pressure. Is it something wrong with the power steering? But.... If in case the power steering has failed, the steering should be very heavy rather than light (correct me if i'm wrong). I am a bit worry about driving it on highway, considering i always have a new born in the car. Any input would be appreciated.
iinkz
Did you notice this after hopping into your car from Go-karting? Jokes aside, my power steering felt really heavy as my power steering ECU failed and needed to get replaced. It's a costly replacement, but luckily I paid for warranty. In regards to the very light steering, did you hit a pot hole or something recently? It's possible that your alignment is out - specifically, your toe. For something more serious, you may have bent something.

As far as I know the power steering is purely electrical/mechanical so no fluid involved.
