New Is250 F Sport Owner

Hi everyone,

I picked up my first Lexus - an IS250 F Sport last week.

I've been looking at buying an IS for a few months and couldn't resist any longer.

Unfortunately as the weather has been pretty awful in Sydney the last week I don't have too many photos, this is probably the best one I have at the moment :)

My other "toy" car is a 1999 NB8A evo gold MX5 which I repsayed a few years ago:

Hi Vaku,

Did you have issues with "yellow spots" from excessive tyre shine?

My IS is back at the dealer trying to rectify "yellow spots" which appear to be from tyre shine and has stained the paint. I've tried washing, claying, polishing etc but couldn't remove them.

Don't have mine yet I pick it up on sat :)

get the mcguirs tyre gel onto it ASAP!

Wash the dealer applied tyre shine off as soon as you can. I'm now too paranoid to put any on.

Anyway, I should have my car back today. Hopefully all fixed.
