[Rookie] Buying A 2005-07 Is250. Anyone Mind Answering A Question?

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I'm set on an IS250 around that year range 05 to 07 as that seems to be the price point for me.

I'm struggling to figure out something.

What is a decent amount of KMs on a second hand car of that age? They range from 80k to 160k, ideally the 130k seems like a good KM to price ratio.

Anyone have any knowledge of what point the engine starts giving up or needs a rebuild etc.

I'm looking at buying a 130k and hoping to get 10 years without having to shell out thousands in repairs.

Appreciate any help :)

I got a 06 with 120k with no problem whatsoever

It was made by Toyota with even higher quality standard, and it may probably be the cheapest maintenance luxury car in long run (parts run forever and even if they break, they will cost less than Europe cars)
