Just thought i'd let you know, i've been to Terry Shields at Para (place where Lexus Para service their cars) and was shown the oem Toyota they use for all cars, it's a Toyota brand 5w-40 but fully synthetic. I'd assume this oil is used everywhere so yeh something to think about come servicing with them.

Manual says to use 5w-30 (otherwise 10w-30 in certain cases), i would think 5w-40 is ok going by what others say.

I have Mobil 1 0w-40 ready to use but have not find time to change my oil.
