Hey guy's what manual trans would you reccomend to put behind a lexus V8. I have a friend who is thinking of putting one in a celica

It might be minus a bell-housing, but certainly Ian knows how to do it.

definatley the Supra Getrag 6 Speed V160, or the NA Supra 5 Speed W58, which I do belive Dellow in Syd have bellhousings for.

The Getrag would be a good box but they are very expensive and not easy to find. Yes I do have a complete W55 Supra 5spd box adapted to a lexus bellhousing. The gearbox cost me $650, adapter plate was $450 and the bell housing was $100. Let me know if he's keen.
