brisbanelexi Posted March 22, 2009 Share Posted March 22, 2009 Hello fellow lexi owners. I was asleep when my lexi got hit by truck as it was parked out the front of my house. The damage has left the car a repairable write off and i got the insurance payout from the accident but i love my car beyond words so i bought it back with intentions to fix it. The damage is mainly cosmetic with only the rear sub axel being bent and i am sorting a replacement for that now, though the rear quarter panel is the cosmetic part and it is quite munched. along with the front and rear lower door mouldings and the drivers side mirror. I had car accident last week and got almost same damege that you had got in your car. There is problem with boot lid and back bumper. side panel is fine. My insurance company is gone a write off my car. But I would my car back and would repair my slef. I just would ask you that what is your experience? I mean where can I find the parts and how much work (and $$$$) involve for panel beater? I can't send pictures now because car is with insurance company and I may get by the weekend.
