hello everyone,im from cork, ireland, im new on loc australia, im on the uk version. i drive a lexus is200 sport, and i have big plans of doing an engine conversion of either the 2jzgte or the 1uzfe i was hoping that ye can give me some info or point me in the right direction, thanks.

hey richie, quite a popular engine conversion the 2JZ-GTE, make sure you source one from an Aristo, if i remember correctly the sump out of the supra GTE doesnt clear the crossmember in the IS.

there is a workshop here in australia in NSW that specialises in IS's and engine conversions. if you look them up in google i believe the company is called All style automotive. im pretty sure they will be able to help you get as much information as you need.

another goods forum to browse is myis.net there are members that have done these conversions and have step by step write ups on the engine swaps. a few have even put supercharged 1uzfe engines in their 300's so it is possible.

Makes me miss my IS200 now!!! regret selling mine!
