Toluene is a bit too volatile and leads to starting problems overnight as it evaporates in the lines. (On a side note, it also melted the soles of a friend's shoes when he spilt some on the ground whilst topping up the car).

AvGas is chock full of lead and your catalytic converters would probably melt after a tank of it.
