Cd Player... Not Error3

Hey guys i was wondering if someone could help me i got a lexus is200 2002 model

basically every time i turn the car on the cd player starts up and goes automatically to disc 5 and says eject disc 5 but there is no disc in there and when i try to load a cd into the player it goes back to disc 5 saying eject disc 5 it will not let me go to any other discs that i have in the player

someone please help would be much appreciated

I'd get your local toyota/lexus dealer to sort it out, sounds like a problem with the actual cd player. Have you tried turning it on and off? Silly question, I'm sure you have, I *think* this was a problem with early models...don't quote me on this though.

hey mate sorry bout the late reply been overseas haha

nah got it all sorted apparently im not the first this has happened to so i just went and got myself an after market head unit a facia kit and popped it in myself and never looked back :) thanks for the advice though :)
