For future reference or anyone else chasing information: Had locksmith come around and check for an immobiliser, couldn't find anything. Went ahead an got a standard key cut, seems to work fine and let the car crank. Sorting a transponder for the remote locking and trunk was an issue though, after a lot of hassle, I am told I'll need a genuine toyota fob to link it up to the car.

Long story short, I've bought a 1999 Toyota Altezza, has no keys. I need keys. 🙃 Hoping someone has some advice or has done this before. Being a Japanese import, everywhere I've tried is unsure. I've contacted a local Toyota dealership, they told me these key fobs are no longer available. Tried a locksmith, they also didn't know. I'm fine with just getting a key cut so I can at least drive the car around, but I don't know if I need a transponder as well. I know IS200 keys communicate with the car to actually allow it to start with the correct key, will my Altezza be the same? Appreciate any info, thank you.

Is it possible to purchase headlights lens? There's a part number on them but I assume it refers to the entire assembly. I want to restore my headlights because they're so easy to pull apart and the current lens have cracks and are too far gone to cut and polish.
