hello is folk- hunting down a few rattles in my is350 cabin(2011) bought 'T' shaped rubber strip to wedge down front in the dash to control/find rattles,without thinking if that was a good idea...is that gap necessary for something? Cheers for any info

Hello fellow lexus folk. Just got a cheap& a little rough, 2011 is350 prestige. She's gunna need some love. Everything is fine under the hood but suspension is all getting a bit tired...got a couple of paint issues and the weather seals/trim are falling apart around the windscreen and doors. Ill attack one thing at a time -Got some crazy quotes from Toyota/lexus for the weather strips? Anyone else had to redo there's? Pics attached...any help or suggestions would be really appreciated 😊
