  1. Hi Ben, I would use any mechanic, willing to put the name to the business! Just Google motor mechanics and count the number of times you see that! Back in the old days, nearly all mechanics called their business, after their name. It was so and so Motors. Now you don't see that anymore, if a person is proud enough of what they do, to put their name to it, then they will get my business.
  2. Hi, I would love to find out who worked on my RS 330. Things like wheel nuts done up way over specs! When a impact gun can not move them, there is a big problem. Wheel alignment done way of what they should be. I haven't driven very many different cars in over 55 years, from what I've seen of this Lexus, it is very ordinary. I certainly will not buy one. It reminds of some of the Italian cars, when you see something and think why? I changed the rear brake pads on this one and thought that it could be very easy and quick. It would have been, but for the stupid park brake adjuster hole!! It is too tiny, to even shine a light into and putting a flat blade into it is very limited. Looking back in hindsight, I should have drilled it out to 15mm! This system of brake was on my old Volvo, but the Swedes did it the right way. My 1995 Audi A4 is my best car, followed by the R31 Nissan Skyline, my worst was the Starfire Holden Corona and Holden HQ. Personally, I think that since 2000, all cars have just become very expensive junk, I will only buy 1995-2000 cars and keep rebuilding them. The mark two Lexus was really good.
