  1. For a total of $200 im not complaining. Im also going to mod the front bar air dam so air will be ducted directly through the cooler. For the time being, its a temporary install. A thicker cooler core will most likely restrict more air from passing through the radiator. One way around that is to throw a small thermo or 2 on the back of the cooler (which i will be doing).
  2. 04465-24020 is the part number for the TT soarer JZZ30 and UZZ32 front pads. 04465-24010 is for the stock V8 and JZZ31 models. This will help you out :) planetsoarer
  3. This link may help you, considering this is an australian forum, and the UK is a wii bit closer to you :) http://www.clubaristo.co.uk/forum/
  4. treated nicely, it can cope with 250RWKW. Having said that, a good decent sized tranny cooler is a VERY good idea. Ben
  5. If its a rear engine main seal failure then he is right. The gearbox will need to come out to replace it. The part itself is not expensive, but the labour getting to it is. Depending on how much oil is leaking you might get away with it for a while, but its always best to replace broken parts. If you think its leaking too much, then spend the money, if its only a couple of drops every week or so, then do what he suggests. If you decide to get it replaced, consider replacing your clutch as well (if it needs doing). That way you'll save on labour of having to remove the box again.
  6. Not without extensive modifications. If you've got plenty of money, then your best off buying a late model Aristo Nose cut from japan and then swapping over the Bonnet, guards, front bar, radiator assembly, headlights, grill etc... Lots of money involved in labour and prep work. You may even need to cut up or even lengthen the bonnet etc.. in order to it to fit on the 147 engine bay. If I were you, go and find a GS300 and take some measurements before you even think about it :) Ben
  7. Hi all, In a few weeks my Aristo will arrive. According to the mechanical report it has a leaking bottom radiator hose. Does anyone know if the radiator hoses are interchangable between the supra and aristo? If so, i might try and get a cooling set from samcosport. On a different subject, do you think a supra intercooler kit would fit on a aristo..?...?...? Thanks! Ben
  8. Hi all, Did the 2JZGTE aristo come out with an LSD standard like the TT JZA80, or was it an option like the 1JZGTE soarers? Im interested to find out if they did and if its as simple as checking the trans/axle code to find out if its got a open wheeler or LSD. IE: A02A Open, or A02B LSD (as the soarer code states). Im thinking of purchasing an aristo very soon and this information will help me pick out the right one :) Cheers Ben PS- I can also assume the Aristo's transmission is the same as the JZA80 TT automatic?
