  1. Yeah, the Trust/GReddy kit does have a lot of the intercooler covered. Could be a real problem, but it does have nice piping! Does anyone know approximately what HP the Otomoto kit can support? I'm planning on doing a single turbo conversion later on, so I need my intercooler to have enough flow to support 500HP+. Nick
  2. Thought I would give an update on this. Toy Shop had none in stock. Could get one in 6 weeks for $275. Found one from a guy on eBay that was wrecking an Aristo in Qld: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...135370&rd=1 Didn't end up calling Rampant cos the eBay guy was asking 150, figured wouldn't get it much cheaper. Cheers for your help, the Toy Shop guys seemed real helpful.
  3. Does anyone have (or know of) any contacts for parts for the Aristo? This could be someone or some place who imports used parts from Japan, imports new parts from Japan, or wrecks Aristo's in Australia. I don't care where the parts come from!! All I currently need is a LHR power window assembly as mine is bust. I can't believe the window needs to be working 100% for compliance!!
  4. Hey Chris, Was thinking about going for the blue ones. As I don't have my car in front of me, I was wondering what you think it would look like if I replaced the 9 dash illumination lights with blue LED's, but left all the others as standard for the time being. Would that look stupid? I think with all the other colours in the dash, it may look a little off. I think the white one may be the better bet, however a lot of the newer cars now have blue dashes and they look good. Cheers, Nick
  5. Has anyone checked out the Trust/GReddy FMIC kits for the Aristo? I was initialy leaning towards the KKR kit, but the Trust one has some nice looking piping. I was recommended it by a workshop but, so there may be a vested interest there!
  6. Very helpful writeup :D I need to replace my dash lights before the car can be complied as one side of the dash kind of flickers a bit. Figured I may as well upgrade the lights at the same time. Problem is, I'm going to have to get the compliance place to take the dash out, do it at home, then take it back and test it. This could take a while. Would be much easier if they were open on the weekend. :( I have a question though, is there any reason you used the wide angle LED's instead of the actual 74 globe replacement LED's (2pcs 74 37 Instrument Panel LED Bulbs(Xenon Blue/White)) that are available from the same store? I was thinking about getting them as they are a direct replacement supposedly, but I should probably also just get the ones you did because we know they work.
