Hate to say it but it sounds like a cracked head- the system's being pressurised by the engine compression. Could be a head gasket instead- is the water milky looking, and does the oil have a milky/watery top layer?

Anyone have any idea on where I can get lower balljoints for a '93 Aristo? Toyota has one l/h one on the shelf.

I bought an ECU from the US for my SC430 as I thought it was faulty- the roof wouldn't sequence properly and would jam partially open. Put it in and no difference- finally tracked it down to a faulty servo on the rear trim panel, so now sorted. Consequently I have a roof ECU that I don't need and the supplier won't take it back- anyone need one? Send me a PM.

Anyone got a spare stock steering wheel? Car's here next week and we want to comply it quickly so we can take it to Sydney.

I've got a '94 Aristo on the water and it's got an aftermarket Momo wheel fitted- I'll need a stock airbag wheel to comply it. Anyone got a spare one for loan or sale?

Just bought a '93 Aristo twin turbo from Japan- any advice/tips etc? It's been partially modified (exhaust, coilovers, boost control, 17" alloys etc). 70,000kms.

Does anyone have a parts catelogue/microfiche for an SC430 convertible, particularly in reference to the roof? Mine's karked it, and the workshop needs to ID a couple of broken clips to get replacements- it's an import so Lexus don't want to know.

and the Lexus is an import Soarer SC430, 2001. Nice motor, and has a vvt engine which I believe is different to the local one.

'72 Cadillac Eldorado convertible, '95 R33 GTR Autech, '97 Mitsubishi RVR (wifes car), 2000 Mitsubishi GTO. also a '75 Triumph Bonneville, a '68 Norton Commando Dunstall and a '98 Yamaha VMax. It's a bit crowded at the moment.

Looking for an owners handbook/manual for a privately imported SC430- I can get one from the US, but wouldn't it be a different spec (as well as LHD)? Also having trouble working out how to reprogram the satnav/tv, and a problem with the roof- it opens, the lid opens and the roof retracts, but the cover in the boot doesn't lift and the whole process stops. Can only open it once during an ignition cycle as well- any ideas?
