Thats what i did... ! i tried a 245 but it rubs on the inside at about 1 1/2 turn of the steering wheel.. Pretty bad in carparks.

Thanks I'm gonna have to go 19s too. The cops pulled me and gave me a defect. There are some better pictures in my other post...

Hey everyone I just finished my gs 300 and the boys in blue said it was too low & wheels too big = Defect..(ive seen lower but anyway) I thought i might put some pics on before i put everything back to normal.. IT was good while it lasted.. Comments????

Hi They are a very similar setup but the springs are different... I have just finished lowering my 99 gs300 after almost 4 weeks of being stuffed around by pedders and a few other people.. Solution: Call KMAC suspension speak to kenny and tell him what you want. They make them there, whatever height you want and they are exactly the same as the originals just shorter. I ordered 2" lower and the car looks awesome drives well. No scraping,no bottoming out, nothing touching anything else and im running 20s. A little bouncier than the originals but there isnt too many ways around that. I wouldnt recommend any lower than 2" as any lower will cause problems if you hit bumps and bad bits on the road. You dont want to bottom out those shocks too much they arent cheap to replace..... I can email you some photos if you want or tell me how to attach pics on this site i cant figure it out.. Cheers

Hi Yes i have made sure the that the system is earthed properly its bolted straight to the body with one of the bolts holding the back of the rear seats on and there isno paint there at all. I also added another earth strap from the battery to the engine and then to the chassis and im still having the same issue. i didnt really think about getting it reco'ed that might be the next step. Hi I have a GS 300 which after installing a decent stereo seems to not be charging at the correct voltage. The stereo souns fine ie. not distorted or anything like that but if i put my interior lights or high beam on when the volume is up the lights dim to the beat of the subs. Someone looked at the alternator and said it was only charging at 13.2Volts. Which he thought was a little low. The battery was new when i bought the car about 6 months ago. We checked the voltage at the amp with the volume up and when there was a big bit of bass the voltage would drop just a little. I priced a new alternator and it was around the $1500 mark trade price so i would like to find out if there is another solution before i spend that sort of $$$. Any info would be appreciated.
