  1. I suppose it'd be the same, I bought a few things from Sewell and I think except for its shipping costs, the items are so much cheaper than the local dealers. Maybe you could email them and ask them, they reply fairly quickly too. Remember to use the code to get further discount.
  2. I never thought the hack for all of these are all out and guaranteed, I'm still using the original setup, stopping to one side and then edit an address etc. Till I got a TomTom to replace it.
  3. I had the roof opened a few times the first time I got the car and then never had it open ever again. It maybe another solution to minimize this problem.
  4. Can someone please tell me what is this thread talking about? I have read this everytime I visit here and it's been 3 times and still cannot figure what is going on. Sorry!
  5. My front sensors have this issue too, I have to switch it off and on again to 'restart' the sensors I suppose or the Beep will come every few minutes.
  6. When I got my illuminated sills from the US I went off to my local auto-electrician and he fitted them for $60. All he did was wire them into the door light wiring. Really? Is it anywhere near Sydney?
  7. The auto-electrician I went to, took the whole front bumper down and the headlights units out, solder, drill, seal it and stuck all the wirings with tapes and thus spending 3 hours on the process. They said to assure the warning lights do not appear on the dash and prevent condensations from occurring. I have not informed them of all these I have read in clublexus. Maybe they know their stuff? Anyway, as long as you buy a smaller K, the chances on putting on glare and attracting the wrong attention is minimized. Using 4300k to 5000k. Besides there's this small knob on the right side of the instrument panel above the fuel and boot switch, it has numbers of the angles you want to project your light. Put it to medium so most light shines on to the road more than the street signs. That should do, I think.
  8. Initially I wanted the Ver red. They only have the silver and the black ones, 9 left last year when I ordered so without hestitation I got it only to realize i could have gotten a hybrid a month later with all the city driving, but really this car is well presentable.
  9. The last time I bought a bunch of stuffs took only 4 working days. It's quick.
  10. Before I went down to the dealer, I tested the passenger with a tester driver. No sign of live current or maybe the tester's broken I thought so I just took it in. After the sad return from the service site, I brought the car to the auto-electrician I went for install of HID and they say they can fix it only after I book an appointment. Labour charge is 90 an hour, that's why I didn't want to go there initially. Can you picture the cost I spent on just installing the lights last month? 3 hours. It costs more than the lights.
  11. I just went to Sydney City Service department and the service was not as good as the sales. The reception made me sound like I owe an apology from budging in without an appointment and when I state the name of my dealer and that I have spoken to him about it. She called him and asked him to stick to the rule of booking by saying, "You know the rules, Thomas" in a sarcastic one and not to ask customer to just walk-in like this. When a serviceman comes down and grabs my key to check with what's the issue of the plates not lighting up even though the dome lights are on auto and they bring illuminated. He came down ten minutes later and said they couldn't understand why they won't lit up. Maybe its broken, go change another pair and come back again.
