It doesnt matter from 05 to my11 there are no major issues with the cars they are great and if there were lexus have EXCELLENT service. and the alcantara thats a personal choice some like some dont as for durability i dont know. The hack can be done on 99% of models although we dont have alot of brandnew car members here so we dont know if there is any issues with the hacks in new cars. but older cars no dramas. Even tho its an 05 you will not be disapointed with the awesomeness of an IS. Hope this helps Cheers

First of all welcome to the club. as for the keys It works for some people and others it doesnt. id be more worried that the guy that stole your keys saw your car and may know where it lives and has a key to your car!!!!!

I too have issues with tempe. Big o. Ozzy tyres. The issues are workman ship and qualifications of the workers. And as for the managers attitudes ....... Any sale means money no matter the bodgyness. Btw. I do not believe bob jane or jaxx would ever get wheels from any one but thier suppliers (ie not tempe) And why would a buyer want a PCD that isnt for thier car. And ive heard of a few instances of wheels not fitting properly from tempe. The customer wouldnt acept the wrong pcd if they werent convinced that it will be "ok". When in actual fact its bodgy. And not "ok"

lexus stock tint is approx 35% (legal) You could take it to another mechanic with the windows down lol. if its lower then 20% you may have some dramas where ever you go. BUT there are "places" to get it done.

My power button is in the start stop button. It really changes the way the car responds to the throttle.

@ bluewaffle Thanks for your advise. Ive been doing alot of investigating on these valves as i dont want a different muffler. I want what i got as i love it and love the sound. (The butterfly valve will only improve this driving pleasure) What i have found is they all tell you exactly what you have brought up and a few other issue. and those that do bring it up have said how these problems have been over come and show you the moves forward to correct these older defects in older "models". It all sounds pretty good. But must admit ive heard just as much bad things as good things. New technologies sound pretty promising though. Still undecided. more re assurance required.

Guys, I was thinking of doing this to my exhaust setup but not sure if it will affect the computers in the car. i love the sound of my car upon full throttle. But would also like it a bit quiter on daily normal driving. has anyone had any experience with these or can offer any advise. I got the idea from watching an episode of top gear i think it was one of the latest corvettes had it on the exhaust tips. Where abouts in silverwater. and where online did uyou get yours im very interested in this setup. The only thing i dont get is how it conects to the phone kit and the blackberry kit at the same time? is the bluetooth in the new phones (ie iphone) multi talented ?

That is awesome. how is it working? like do you plug bluetooth reciever into your aux??? have you got more info?

nope. you dont have to remove the headlight or the bumper. on the drivers side you need to remove the airbox and you can get strait to it. on the passenger side the only thing you can remove is the windscreen bottle filler by just pulling on it. once you have done this . . . access granted.

IS250 Brakes IS350 Brake upgrade.

A little bit fiddly cos they actually go under your head light so they are invisable when not on. Its fiddly becuase they are sticky back.
