  1. Hi, I am trying to change my rear speakers and it seems it's more difficult than it looks - in my previous car S14, the rear parcel tray just kinda pops out - but with the Tezza looks like it's bolted down or somesort. Can anyone gimme some guidance of how to remove the parcel tray without breaking anything? Cheers NO XQS

  3. Hi, It's a pod filter (the new K&N Extreme) - I got Mag and Turbo in Mt Welington to fit it and I went home to fabricate a heatsheild and that's when I found oil in the pipes? Anyone can tell me what sort of damage will that cause to the engine? Cheers NO XQS
  4. Serran, I don't think so - but I could be wrong but if so, will it cause any damage whether it's K&N air filter oil or the lubricant/sealant used when installing the air filter? Could you tell me why, the engine feels like it's choking/gasping for air when the car is idling? (feels like the car is about to stall... By the way it took me about 6 hours to build a heat sheild, man it was a chore ! Cheers NO XQS
  5. Dudes, I found oil in my air filter intake pipes, there is some oil at the entrance of the intake throttle body and I have cleaned it out but what kind of damage will that cause to the engine - I suspect that the oil is coming from the K&N filter oil but I have not reoiled it yet as I got it out of the box and it's factory oiled. Please advise? Cheers NO QXS
  6. Hi, I removed my Sat Nav and carpeted the housing and installed a portable DVD player. If you want some pics, just email me and I will send it to you Cheers DRIFTO
  7. Dudes, I am having trouble with this: can anyone part me with some knowledge as to what the PWR Button does??? doesn't seem to do bugger all no matter at what revs I press it. I haven't tried it in manual E-Shift mode but will that make a difference? Is anyone interested in a group buy for personalised plates? I just sold my old plate DRIFT O (I want a new one that suits the car) Cheers DRIFTO
  8. Hi Dudes, How are you guys running your sound systems, I would just like to see what the other Tezza owner are doing: I am not a *doof doof* kind dude I am running: Sony MDX870X MiniDisc Active Black Panel Headunit Sony Xplod 10" Subwoofer (Octogan) Sony 222 Amp Sony DVD player Alpine 6" Components with passive crossovers Apline V12 250 Amp Stock standard factory rear speakers _____________________________________________________________ The whole systems is set up that the headunit is only powering the stock standard rear speakers, both of the amps are concealed under the front passenger seat. Sounds much better than my previous car that I spent over $6000 , this system only cost a little over $3500 Cheers DRIFTO
  9. Hey Matt, I am really keen on the Elegance Front Lip and Side skirt - when do you reckon we can start to get some? Cheers Merv
  10. Dude, I have a friend who drives his '98 RS200 to about 250,000km (he is an Area Manager) and it still goes like thunder each time you put pedal to metal (He still has the car, still looks brand spanking new). As long you you get it serviced regularly by the people you know what's going on, you should be sweet for many km's to go. Cheers Merv
  11. Funny that, I just removed my GPS screen and the nav module to fit in a DVD player - have to warn you though that it's in two bits (screen and the Nav module) - if you are still keen let me know Cheers DRIFTO
  12. Hi Zeo, I recently picked up my RS200 Z-Edition (E Shift) Metallic Mica Grey, that has only done 58,000km from Toyota Signature Class in Albany, comes with a 2 year unlimited km warranty, which is always a plus to pay a little extra and those dudes will mint up the car, my whole car looks brand spanking new from the outside to inside to the underside to the engine bay. They touch up the paint work, service the car thoroughly, replace any faulty bits...etc. (Can't tell that the car is used unless you see the odometer) I didn't have to pay too much from the average market price...and the best thing is, you can still mod the car and it will not void the warranty (unless if the fault is attributed to faulty installation or because of the mods done) - if you want to see pics of me car just email me Cheers DRIFTO
  13. I am keen as ! Cheers DRIFTO
