Coolant Temp Sensor

Easy answers thanks! My engine fan seems to be going nuts lately... after driving it will be going pretty fast and loud even if its not a real hot day. Does that sound like coolant temp sensor or something else? -
Hi All, Can anyone tell me if the Coolant Temp Sensor is in the same place as the LS400? Can you use a LS400 sensor? Thanks, James
