  1. Yes you read that right. Occasionally the car will crank but not start. Getting out and rocking the car back and forth, giving it a good shake, gets it going. Loose wire? Starter? Fuel filter just replaced. Has this happened to anyone else? VSC Off and Check engine Light comes on for a while after, then disappears. Had an alternator replaced a while ago. More recently replaced battery fuel filter. Hope you can help!
  2. Hi all, I have a couple of issues with electrics in the dash and was wondering if this was common. 1. Fuel gauge has stopped working - orange light permanently on and no readout of dash display of cruising range left. Service centre reckons is moisture affecting the fule gauge sender. 2. On hot days the radio display does not work. The controls on the dash don't function but the ones on the steering wheel do. The radio still works though. Hope someone out there might have a similar issue? Would love to know on the off chance if it is feasible to upgrade the dash to cinlude sat nav from rx350 2007 sport to sport luxury...? Thanks! Denis
  3. Actually yes, I'm looking to trade in the 635CSI on an IS300. If it's half as good as the RX I'll be very pleased.
  4. Hey all, Just picked up a RX350 SPORTS GSU35R 06 UPGRADE today. 43,000kms and a years warranty left. I can't believe what an amazing car this is having driven a Honda CRV for the last 10 years. It has leather, sunroof memory seats - no doubt everything seasoned Lexus owners know and love. (My wife will be driving it mostly and now my BMW635csi is looking a little dated). I'd love to hear from anyone what their experiences are with this amazing car - anything I should look out for? Any peculiarities of the 06 upgrade (should have done my research first but it was such a beautiful car - had to have it). I'm interested in ipod connectivity, sunshade for the hot sydney sun and dvds for the back seats for the kids etc. I'm also interested in any opinions on Lexus servicing vs any alternative providers. Thanks for reading and I look forward to enjoying the forum for the next 10 years... Mamod
