Maybe I'm just asking the obvious here but did you return the conversion back to standard? And, does the disply work when back to standard? Maybe there is a reset function for the screen (did you remove the car battery for a few hours - that might reset the display cpu)?? FYI, I did mine according to the hints on this board and had no issues so I don't think the mod process is in question. Gday, I found someone on ebay from hongkong that was selling the touch screen for $320 delivered. Installed it yesterday and its working fine! The touch screen was exactly same as geniune made in japan. Lucky i didn't need to get a whole new unit! :)

Hi, My 2006 IS250's DVD/NAV touch screen died. Everything else in the unit is working. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem. If not, does anyone have either the screen or the whole unit for sale? Kind Regards, Bob

Oh well. Looks like my touch screen is stuffed. :( I've converted it back to standard & still has the problem. I hope i just need to get a new screen. Hi, i'll be converting it back to standard this weekend. I did however removed the battery for 30 mins but with no success. I really hope i don't have to buy a new unit coz of this. HELP!!! after hacking the dvd whilst driving, 5 days later the touch screen is now not working!! can someone please help me as i am not sure what to do now. :(

Hi, after checking out the 'camera check' option, i seem to not have that reverse camera parking guide line anymore. Would you know what to do to get that back? :(

Yes it is the hid headlight. i'll have to swap the bulbs around to make sure that its just the bulb thats the problem. It seems pretty difficult to get to those bulbs though. I'll see how i go. Thanks heaps for your help! :) yea.. wont b an easy job if u got fat fingers.. if u need a hand just pm me dude hi, yeh i took off the engine covers today (for the first time) & noticed that its not like a honda where there is easy access. i have no chance getting my hands through that small gap. i'm guessing the best way to do this is to remove the headlight & bumper? if so, thats beyond my ability. i guess i'll need to get a professional to do this for me!

Hi, i have a 2006 is250 sports luxury & my headlights are starting to play up. I took it to the Lexus Dealership for a service & they told me that to replace the bulb only, its gonna cost $432 for the part only because its a special type of light bulb. I know i can get it somewhere else cheaper but i just want to know if the aftermarket ones will have the same brightness/colour as the genuine one? Also, does anyone know where i can get them from? Thank you very much in advance! :)
