  1. What they also tried with me was that they wanted me to pay for the freight and they would pay extra to cover the freight costs. (the bank accounts are real but they are not freight companies) They also sent me fake pay pal statements saying they have paid in full. You only need to place your cursor on the senders e-mail and you will quickly find out its all a half hearted attempt by some looser to try and scam you. These attempts to defraud me have happened at least a dozen times to the point that I get bored with them.
  2. Thanks heaps for the dash info, I've been looking for a couple of months and sending heaps of e-mails to companies in the USA to try and make me a suede dashmat cover for my right-hand-drive is250. I've had no luck until now. It should be on my dash within 2 weeks. Again, thanks heaps.
  3. 2pak is enamel. Your thinking of the old style enamel which I dont think anyone would use anymore.
  4. To all who attended the cruise on the weekend, We had a great time and didn't we all get a few jealous looks as we cruised down the highway driving through the rain (lol) forest. We didn't much notice how wet the roads were, we drive a Lexus is250. We didn't much notice how cold it was, the Lexus climate control and heated seats took care of that too. If only it could wash itself. Then again we love to wash and pamper our baby. Thanks guys for a great days outing. Kamil and Roberta.
  5. Motel booked........... Petrol tank full........... Lexus looking pretty....... 3 hour drive infront of us... And sadly a 3 hr drive home again... I reckon more Lexus Sydneysiders could make the effort and get out of bed.
  6. I am very interested in the cruise but I have to travel to Sydney and camp somewhere on the sunday night then drive back home after the cruise on the monday. Thats all good and fun but I would like to know how many would be turning up?
  7. My is250 is lowered one inch and I fitted set of Nexen 225x35x20 tyres on a set of Vertini mag wheels. I had to cut a small hole on the inner R/H front guard to stop scrapping when I drove over a bump. I have done 10,000k's with them so far with no problems. The car looks hot and handles great.
  8. I'm about to do my first oil change on my IS250 and while browsing through my owners manual and on page 331, I spot the oil capacity for the front differental. Can someone fill me in here? Did some IS250's come out with "all wheel drive" or is Lexus having a little joke on us?
  9. Hi to all out there in lexus land, Just introducing myself to all in this site. I brought a second hand black 2006 IS250 6spd manual about 3 months ago, which I have lowered and dumped on a new set of 8x20inch black rimed mags with some polished alloy inserts. Also tinted the windows and added weather shields (surprisingly the weather shields look great). I'm about to tint the tail lights and am thinking about getting a set of vented front guards for it. At this stage I'm not thinking about modifying the motor for more horses as I have for the last 8 years owned a modified 4 seater 5spd twin turbo 300ZX. I have taken to great interest in this site with the ideas people come up with in personalizing their IS250's and seeing what you come up with. Kam B)
  10. Hi Korvan, I only just joined this site today. I have a 6spd manual is250 and tried your instructions on turning the seat belt chime off but using the clutch pedal instead. "no luck". Do you know if the process is different for a manual please? Kam
