  1. I wouldn't worry about warranty that much, its essentially a pipe and a filter, if you install it properly it shouldnt cause any problems. If you're really worried about warranty and want piece of mind, just go with the F-Sport - F-Sport parts wont void your warranty. For lights, if you want to match your stock HID go 4300k. Lowering your car an inch in the back definitely won't cause any problems - you'll still clear most if not all inclines easily. Hope this has been helpful! Hey Terry, Thanks or your advice. Are you sure the stock HID is 4300k? Just a reminder I have the 2010 Is250 f-sport. I have a feeling that the stock bi-xenon lights are 5000k. I've tried looking online but its useless. Not even on the website. Mike
  2. Hey Mike, Thanks for the comments! To answer your question yes you certainly do feel a difference with the F-Sport performance upgrades. I definitely feel that the car is much more responsive compared to the stock set up plus you have a nice roar from the intake and exhaust when you are doing some spirited driving! Definitely makes the car sound much better and personally I would not go back to stock as the IS250 just lacked character as it was just way too quiet. Some people perfer that I suppose but each to their own. All the F-Sports Parts I sourced from Lexus of Miami directly. The internet parts manager is a guy named Steve and he is pretty easy to deal with. With the Aussie dollar so strong at the moment it's probably a great time to import your own parts. Unfortunately shipping is a bit of a killer though as it's pretty expensive however I find if you buy a few parts all at once then it works out economical. For the Exhaust I got it for $1200 USD and Intake was $315 USD and shipping came to about $800 USD through FedEx - When the parts arrived you will also have to pay 5% import duty and 10% GST on top. I had also bought the F-Sport Spring Set for $285 USD however unfortunately the dealer sent me the wrong set suitable for the GS not the IS and I had to send it back. It was a shame as I really wanted to lower the car. Once the parts arrived I got the local Lexus Dealer here in Southport to install it all which cost about $185 dollars in total which was reasonable. I got a hire car with that and they also washed and vacuumed my car. If I had the Spring Set installed - they quoted me about $700 dollars just for that as they have to unbolt & remove the entire suspension unit and completely rebuild the set with the replacement/installation of the new springs. You then also need to realign everything to ensure that the toe and camber is correct for the lowered stance. Hey Mike, Thanks for your comments. I definitely have plans to add some kind of modifcations although I am a bit hesitant due to the fact that many people say that it will void my factory warranty. I have been trying to do some research online but suffice to say that there isn't really a clear indication. Do you happen to know if adding fuel intake/air filters will void warranty? I know someone who has a K&N air intake system on their 250 and it sounds amazing. Also as far as angel eyes vs HID, I like what p0c1's mods (on page 22) has done to his lights. Bit I want to make sure they match my current xenon lights. p0c1 do you know what the standard xenon lights are for the 2010 is250 fsports? I think i saw somewhere that they were 16k but the 4200 lights you have look amazing. Also Mike is the back of your car lowered a bit? Many people say that lowering the back even by an inch makes a bit difference but I'm worried that this may affect driving in car parks etc? Love what you've done with the car looks really good! Cheers, Mike
  3. Hey Mike, Looks really good! Question, how much of a difference do you feel with the f sport performance upgrades (air intake, exhaust system etc) would you say its worth the upgrade? How much did it all cost you? Where did you get it upgraded? Mike
  4. Hey Everyone, Haven't really seen many f-sports on here or even on the road so thought I'd upload some of my pics. Haven't done any mods to it yet but thinking of tinting rear lights (Except for white parts) and getting angel eyes or something to match the white bi xenon lights. Also thinking of spray painting the lights (not the bulbs) black as well. Anyone got any ideas? My brother thinks I should paint the rims black - im not so sure though. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys! Mike
  5. Hey Guys, New to this site, came across it when I was researching info on the is250's navigation etc. I'm new to lexus, decided that lexus trumps the european cars in pretty much all the important categories. I should be picking up my new 250 on tuesday/wednesday. I've just bought a 2010 is250 with f-sport package (excl. exhaust) with Navigation and Sunroof(moonroof). Will post pics when i get it! Lookin forward to a meet in sydney sometime soon! Mike
