I was greedy :) first delivery of is 350 f sport in Melbourne pretty much :) no discount straight up but I got other perks :) u don't get to bargain much when cars first come out haha !! I got a realllllllly good trade in on my is250 though :) the main reason why right now u get good discounts I guess is nearing end of year the wanna make sure the sell all 10 plated cars?

Mate the dealer got u on the trade in most likely and it also a corporate deal so u get the fleet pricing I think but all in all a good price except there are no is350 f sport for delivery until late dec early jan unless u bought early in release

Yep it's all to do w if they need to make a sale most likely someone uad a deposit down on the car and they canned it

my friend actually does bulk buys for them and sells them in australia, he installed them for me at the same time as the HID kit, which involved removing the front, i'm not sure if u can get to them without doing that?

i changed them on my is250 before and there were no issues, so i dont imagine there would be in ur case either !

if ur local dealer doesnt do it, my friend who works at a lexus dealership does it through theirs !

if u want to tone it down, you can get a special made veneer that goes over it... u can have it done through Lexus

U can pretty much give the car a good poke after 500km obi don't flog the crap outta it, u can't run the car in much after that anyways coz all the valves and stuff will be tempered and run it by then, and lexus use good oil so there should be no issues. If u don't actually load the engine up in e first 500km u may find that u burn oil down the track. U cannot damage the car by driving it hard within reason before the first service. My personal view is that after 1500 km u can really start push in the car everything that needs to be run in by then should be

I've run in all my cars the same way F 1 vary revs don't let it sit at same rev for long periods of time ie idling or cruising on freeways 2 give it some revs once in a while ie up to 4-5k and occasionally close to redline 3 "run in" the engine till500km Remember the engine might come run in from factory but ur gear box ain't !! :))) so to run that in, shift down ur gears to load up the engine and the gear box when ur traveling once in a while I aint no expert on the exact working of e engine but from various pol I picked up these tips Oh and let ur car warm up first before u oush it hard for the first 1000k or so My 350 is now well run in at almost 2000k but u need to get to around ur firsy service of 15000k anx after oil change then u will really notice the " run in" engine

Yeah I was just realllllly lucky hahaha !!! I was pretty much the first to order and pick up in melb :))) Guy down my street had is f and he stares at me everytime I drive by lol !! The new f sport front is damn nice even compared to th is f front IMHO and the daytime LEDs well what else can I say hahaha ECM my gf was impressed :)))

Unlikely considering in melb all 350 are pretty much sold or on order until the new year If u want a decent discount I rkn need to wait till they have more cars in stock and they wanna clear them
