  1. The Lexus of Chatswood service centre is in Roseville and yes they have their own smash repair right next door. With the AMG 63, I actually do feel more get up an go compared to my F with headers/joeZ exhaust/air intake. Obviously the F makes more noise but AMG is very quick for something that heavy. I had a full load in the merc and it had no problems powering off the line. I actually wouldn't mind am AMG now:)
  2. Thanks blacky. I've been assured its in good hands:). The lexus service guys know me by now. They know how anal I am with my car and they'll make it all better.
  3. They have yet to inspect the engine bay etc. but they mentioned they will be replacing the fenders, grill, lights etc. most will be replaced and I think they mentioned they will spray paint 1/2 the car. ML63 is no ISF but the car is quick and has a smooth ride. It's a very nice cruising car. The gear shifts aren't as good as the ISF but still nice.
  4. Well it had to happen. Was driving along minding my own business when some ute changed into my lane not seeing me and I slammed on my brakes and hit into him. Damage to mine looked more severe than the other party involved. The front drivers side got all banged up. It was a good move that I got insured with lexus. It all took less than 10 mins to get a claim number and drop my car off at lexus of chatswood service centre. Car will be out of commission for about 1 month. Joey (body specialist) went out of his way to explain the process and ran me through what needed to be done and what work will be carried out. To top it all off he got me into a Mercedes ML63 AMG loaner until the car is fully repaired. Now that's fantastic service. Car should be brand spanking new when it comes out of the shop.
  5. I took mine to Lexus of Chatswood service centre. They give you a loan car for the day and did a great job.
  6. An ISF as a daily drive is even worst. It's impossible to coast this car to conserve petrol. Sports mode + manual mode all the way = $80/$90 a week in petrol costs.
  7. Just have a few mods for my car 1. Icode air intake 2. Joez exhaust 3. PPE headers
  8. Yes. Just minor scrapes. There's no chunk Missing. I'm dropping my car off for a a service at the dealer. So if they can fix the wheel at that time, I'll just leave it with them. As long as I know it can be done I'm happy.
  9. Thanks for the response. I have my yearly service with the dealer this wednesday so I might just ask if they can fix it all up at the same time. At least I know it should be fairly simple to repair. Hopefully they have the tools on site to repair it and not having to send the wheel away. Will give them a call tomorrow to confirm.
  10. Anyone know if Lexus of Chatswood service can repair wheel damage. Just scraped the outer edges of the wheels. Doesn't look that bad but still interested to see if they can repair the wheel at time of car service. Any ideas?
  11. Have you found your fuel consumption is down.? Funny you mention that. I have noticed that fuel consumption is better. Thought I was just imagining things. Is that one of the pros of getting the headers installed? Either way you get performance as well as better fuel consumption. Win win situation:)
  12. Picked my car up on Thursday with the headers. Best move I made. Sure it's louder but the sound screams performance. I can definitely feel acceleration improve. The only thing I don't like are the stares you get from other cars due to the louder sound.
  13. My baby booked in for next Wednesday to get the headers installed. They need the car for 2 days. Scott mentioned that the noise should be louder at idle with the headers installed but slighty louder than if you just had the joeZ and cold air intake. Just hope it really isn't that much louder. I find my current setup already quite loud for a daily drive :). I hope I really do notice a difference in power though:)
  14. Decided to get my isf a pamper treatment with a full interior/exterior detail. I asked them to see if they could remove a scratch/scuff mark from the drivers side interior door panel which i was fully to blame for. They mentioned on the phone that they removed the mark. When I picked the car up this afternoon, the scratch was still there. I mentioned this to Scott who agrees that they forgot to look at this upon detailing the car. His response: "I'll just order the entire interior drivers panel for you from Japan". This is unbelievable service from them. I was not expecting this response fom them:). Totally awesome customer service from them yet again. That's why I've bought 3 cars from them in 10 years and why I will buy from them in the future.
  15. What tyre pressure do all of you use for front and rear tyres. The service dept recommends 36 & 38 psi. I can't remember whether 38 is at the front or rear. Should the high pressure be for the front tyres.
