ah Zed. I remember you now. The one with the gold IS ! :) I reckon the matt red and dark bonnet, roof and boot looks hot. I might leave the backside bit (around the tail lights) matt red and just have the top of the boot wrapped in cf or matt black.

Got my midpipes fitted at Lexus of Chatswood for $143 bucks. Danny, Chris, now I know what you mean. Greddy + Invidia midpipes sounds soooo chewbaccarish !! No idle drone, slight bassy drone just under 2000rpm. Very very happy.

Hi PRV, fortunately for me, LEX51S fitted mine. We used the same gasket and did not have any problems. Did you get the new Greddy SE with or without blue tips?

hey zbad007, have you tried playing the 5.1 dolby version of Hotel California via the Eagles DVD as a comparison? I play it all the time in mine with my ML audio system and I find the bass just fine. Aren't high end subwoofers (including home theatre ones) suppose to sound like that without drowning out with too much bass?

hey guys, just got my bonnet / hood and grill wrapped with 3M carbon fibre. Previously had the grill wrapped but it was bubbling up so decided to get it professionally done. Carbon Demon did a perfect job. Here are some pics they took for their website: I love it. Nice and subtle.

hey Lexus Nerd. I feel your pain. First I had a cracked rear bumper and then another time, I had it grazed at the side. i can't seem to escape from these !@$^&^# drivers. Didn't bother fixing it as I fear i might happen again soon after its fixed. Do let us know how you go with the paint job.

Thanks guys for your input. I didn't really ask in detail how they performed the reset. Most probably like what Atlantis and ilv1004s said, via battery disc. Perhaps a good habit to disc the battery each time we perform a mod? If anyone else tries this, do confirm the results.

Has anyone retuned their cars after changing their exhaust ? I've got a Greddy exhaust and it sounded great however got a little bit drony when it hits 4th gear. I found it had a loads of torque in 1st and 2nd, but tends to lose momentum when in 4th. I pretty much got used to it. Then recently I sent my car to Lexus of Chatswood to replace the disc brakes and they apparently reset my engine / ECU and as a result , no more drone and power is even all through the gears ! I immediately felt the difference and couldn't be happier. Enquired with Lexus and apparently the engine had to re-learn ? (maybe someone can help explain) My engine was too used to just my F-Sport filter and after 100,000km+ it needed a reset to adapt to the new exhaust. (Didn't know there was such thing??) Anyway, thought I'd share this with those who have modified their exhaust or planning to do so. Bring it to Lexus to get it reset !

Is this sound coming from the rear? What's the part number on your springs? Apparently there was a version that had some noise issues. Let me know while I try to look for mine.

Nice find on the videos. The quad pipes sounds better than the first. First one somehow doesnt have the v6 growl.
