  2. Hey mate, The place I got it from isn't in business anymore in the us, swell seem to have it without the carbon top. Which maybe better. http://is.sewellparts.com/accessories-catalog/Interior/ISF-2011/4857.html
  3. Looks great mate - glad you did it. It was my first mod and it always will be with any car ;)
  4. Very nice, would love to hear your feedback once they are on... Was that pricing inclusive of import taxes etc.... Thanks
  5. Exhaust really makes a big diff, really adds personality to the F. Camber is not too bad on mine & the car is a weekend ride, also I recommend getting tires from tirerack. Heaps cheaper than oz prices. I'm looking at the arms next, lower and upper links but only so I can squeeze 295 PSS on the rear.. I think if the car is a daily you should invest in it. I've heard really good things about FIGS products. Are headers on the list ?
  6. Looks great - love the pro pics :) well done mate!
  7. Hey D, As a suggestion Mainline Automotive in Revesby, these guys make the dynomatic dynos. Speak to Todd, he does the Motor mag tuner challenges and all our ozaudi dyno days. Great guy and knows his stuff. Location can cater for 20+ cars as well. Here's the link from our previous day 65 bucks for 2 runs. http://www.ozaudi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36415 Cheers Mike
  8. Right back at you boys, Happy New Year !!!! Thanks for all your proactive efforts, looking forward to more in 2013 Best wishes Mike
  9. Lol Bullit may have got us mixed up mate :) I have to say I'm running the HPS silicone pipe + AFE filter and the second stage roar is still audible with the JoeZ.. Open pod filters do make a great sound but not suited for our hot temps and throw out air flow sensors IMO Mike
  10. Not a problem, glad to hear that your enjoying it... Not wasting any time with mods either ... NICE :) I looked at importing the exhaust initially but wasnt worth it as shipping costs alone was 950... Once you add taxes etc not worth the effort. Think it's around 2800 fitted from Chatswood which was a no brainier, great service and covered under warranty for peace of mind. I'm sure the Brisbane dealer will be able to get one on for you. Definitely have a listen to it first before you commit as its not for everyone .. That said it sounds mean. Very different to the C63, doesn't have the over run bark like the merc but has a deep burble at idle and at WOT sounds like an angry lion being kicked in the nuts :) - the auto blip downs do sound amazing after the exhaust, my favourite part... If you can live with the drone I have no doubt you will love the sound .. Esp if you're missing the C63 ambiance ;) I personally don't miss the clunky slow gearbox ... KW's are great just make sure you get them installed and tuned properly, can be a bit fiddly adjusting. Any reason you opted for 20" ? What did you get? Mike
  11. - flat bottom steering wheel - HPS silicone intake + AFE dry filter - JoeZ cat back exhaust - HRE P40SC 19x9fr 19x10.5rr + Michelin PSS 245 / 275 - KWV3 coilovers Hoping to also get a set of PPE headers and a few WALD / Lexon bits in 2013.... Best wishes for the silly season fellows Mike
  12. Hi mate, Welcome, have seen you around ozaudi and benzworld a few times :) hope ur enjoying the car. I have the JoeZ on its own and yes there is definitely drone at certain rpm, not an issue with me as the car is a weekend drive only. So I'm with Danny on this one, if its a daily then try and have a listen to one before you commit. Everybody has different tolerances. That said you could avoid the drone range RPM in manual mode, selecting the right gear whilst crusing helps ...full auto seems to always drop and keep you in that drone range which can get overwhelming especially for passengers in the rear... Good luck with your decision and would have been happy to take you for a drive if you we're in Sydney. Cheers Mike
  13. Hi mate, I have KWV3 on mine which are designed individually for each car on the Nurburgring ring. Great quality product made in Germany. They are adjustable for height & have independent adjustments for rebound and compression. They can be complex to adjust but depending on what you're after they can be fine tuned to those specific needs. Basically set and forget. Mine is setup for 100% road use so on the softer side but less rebound than the OEM suspension. I hate that bouncy boaty feel the stock ISF has... the car settles allot faster on acceleration braking and on rough surfaces which gives you accurate control. They can be tuned for occasional track use to Nurburgring set-up, which sacrifices comfort for handling. I mean Kidney bending ride on Sydney roads but amazing "tortness" on the track - All settings can be obtained from KW (City Performance) will set it up for you. IMO they are worth every penny and was my first mod on the car. Was 4K installed and aligned. I've also used the KW cup series on my C63, which is pricy & more suited for track use only. approx 6K ICODE use a Bilsteins custom setup which also looks the goods but also very exxy....6K These are real easy to adjust as they have on single tuning knob that controlls rebound and compression. I used them on my S3 some years ago... http://www.ozaudi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12135&highlight=bilstein I stayed away from teins as its no longer built in Japan, comes from the same factory in Taiwan where BC's are made... Hope that helps Mike
  14. Used this mob a few years back and they did a great job. I'm guessing its minor scratches and not a chunk missing :) They come to you and quote you based on what's required http://www.mobilealloywheelrepairs.com.au/ Cheers Mike
  15. Thanks for that mate -much appreciated.
  16. Hey Guys, Has anyone else apart from Richie mounted a set of PPE's on the ISF .... It's been very quiet since they arrived. Looking for some feedback on gains, issues if any in regards to rattles / failing 02 sensors etc Thanks Mike
  17. Sorry Alan, if HPS are out of stock, best place an order with them and wait for more to be made. Since they produce the intakes. For Aus, yes. It works well with our hotter temps. less heat soak than the JoeZ. Mike
  18. I should be able to make this one for a few hours, looking forward to meeting some new faces
  19. I'm in on this - thanks for organising Danny
  20. Hey Mate, Personally I don't like pod set-ups especially the open pod intakes, they tend to suck hot air from the engine bay and confuse your air flow sensor. Great if you are after big intake sound but not practical. Especially during our summer 35+ days you will suffer from heat soak issues. Also note that open pod systems are not legal in Aus unless used on track / race – has to do with strict pollution / emission regulations... I think the 2 stage OEM intake works well and is a unique delivery system that’s part of the ISF’s charm, all you need is a better intake hose to keep temps down and a better flowing after market filter.. in my opinion anyway ... Mike
  21. Looks great on white buddy. Enjoy the extra attention ;) Mike
