  1. Thanks for that mate, sounds like a bit of a pain to do but possible :)
  2. Yeah that's what i was looking at... Figured they'd be a straight swap and the plug would b under the seat... If not I've read on another forum that they just need power if some description which I could tap form somewhere... Fingers crossed
  3. hahaha all good mate, yeah there the ones, only the bolsters are leather (i think), what im thinking is surely they would have left the plug for the electric control in the floor and just not connected it for the manual adjustment seats rather than changing part of the wiring harness.
  4. Thanks heaps for that... I should have mentioned it was for a IS200 not the 250s :(
  5. Hi Guys, if i have cloth manual adjustment seats is there a way that i can swap them for a set of leather electric adjustment seats and get them to work?
  6. Hi Guys, been thinking about lowering my IS for a while now and think im going to go with coilovers (purely for the adjustment ability). i can get a set of BC's from JustJap that are "smooth and forgiving ride for city use, at any speed" for $1300 and i would fit them myself. i also went into my local Pedders and spoke to a guy there (Super helpful and knowledgeable) about there equivalent which is $2000. the guy said that the BC's are pretty much an exact replica of theirs just with lesser quality components. included in their price is installation, wheel alignment and any future adjustment/tuning i want done free of charge... can i get your thoughts or previous experiences/recommendations?? thanks in advance.
  7. Hi All, i have a 2000 IS200 which im looking at doing a few things here and there too and the grill is next on the list... any one have any links or places they can recommend? thanks in advance.
  8. so checked out the Red light situation, the only issue is that they are only on when the door is actually open where as the centre courtesy light as you know is on once the doors are unlocked and stays on until the car starts etc etc. any thoughts? i figured i could the the lights in the door pockets and connect to the red lights, that might look alright but not sure.
  9. yeah thats what i had done might have to figure out a way to thin it out or something.
  10. thanks for that lefty i havent even noticed those red lights., i did a moc up and wasnt pleased with the look.. ground light was awesome but you could see the LED strip, not to mention the reflection on the door, thinking of opening up the mirror and drilling holes to match the spacing of the LEDS on the strip.
  11. hi guys, would anyone be able to tell me here the wiring for the interior light that runs on the door pressure switch is ran in a 2000 IS200? im adding wing mirror kerb lighting and would prefer not to have to go hunting for it to tap into it and pull off unnecessary panels. thanks in advance.
