Hi mate i got a MY06 IS250 sports , And my dad has a MY2011 F sport IS350 and both these cars dont have a compass on the rear view mirror .

I dont have the smell even when i give my car a hard time guess im lucky 2006 build IS250 .

It depends how deep the scrath is but you should be alright most scratchs will not penetrate the primer coating on a car.

I am with AAMI to and i just took my car to Northshore smash repair and they did everything for me . Dont let them fool you into taking it to there repair if you are firm with them they will let you take it to your repairer .

Try BOB jane T marts on the corner of parramatta road and woodville road Parramatta they charged me aroung $125 . leave the car there they take the tyre of and send it out to get repaired . I could not tell the difference from the undamaged ones to the one that was guttered.

I am pretty sure it is just slightly lower springs . I have a 2006 sports and when i checked at the lexus dealer the only different part numbers were the springs.

Hi i have tried the Mequiars quick interior detailer and i cant say it got rid of my marks of my door trims . It did make my dash look alot better than what it was before .

Aurion rotors are not the same as IS250 rotors different thickness ... they do have the same pcd thought

That is way to much for those pads i could get the set for about $150 .... PM me if anyone is intrested can alos get rotors for way cheaper than retail price

Maybe not that specific one i put up[ there but that same design i have emailed Lexus of Miami and they have the same one to fit my VIN of my car .

Do these things REALLY have adjustable tappets? I thought they went out in the dim dark ages. I meant get them replaced .

That sounds to me like its your tappets they did not adjust it right when they did the cam gears maybe.

In my opinion the new software colours is not as good as the old design no real new features on it compared to the older software

I have Yokohama Advan tyres on my they are alittle bit more expansive but worth it . Kuhmo's are a very good Tyre though it also depends on your budget . Stay clear of cheaper non name brands as they might be cheap but quality , grip and overall service life of the tyres is very poor .

The fuel filter should be changed every 75k's because it gets dirty . I have changed a couple of these type fuel filters before the labor time is not that long when you get used to changing them although its a bit tricky to do . As i am led to believe from a Toyota rep that used to come to my work our fuel and way its distributed is not as for lack of a better word clean as most countries overseas .But the fuel smell and the fact the fuel will spill every where is unavoidable because of the pressure in the fuel lines .

My Lexus IS250 averages 10.6 litres per 100 which i been told is a bit high for a manual but i do alot of bumper to bumper crap sydney driving .

Stock is 225 in the front and 255's in the rear Im sure lexus has put in countless hours and money into R&D and to come up with this result
