  1. Yes I am also wonder how ppl get such a good fuel consumption figure as I have a 2008 Sport Lux and running only 98RON both from Caltex and Mobil(7-Eleven) and never able to achieve bellow 11, always between 11 and 12 ... even with new tyres and brakes
  2. Hi Michael, Just a quick word of thanks for the kit. Bought it at the end of Nov and installed just before my first daughter was born early Dec. The kit was easy to installed and my wife love it .... no more question about locking the door or closing mirror in car park ... happy wife happy life .. Cheers.
  3. Thanks guys for the recommendation, first time buying tire and with lack of experience ,just like anything, I think it hard to find the right balance between cost and quality....don't want to spend too much then left with empty pocket and on other side don't want to spend too little then you have to stuck with the unhappy tires for a year or two. I am thinking of $200 - $250 per tire would be the right balance, right? , now the question is - what is the best tyre can I get with that range ...=0)
  4. Just bring back the old tyre again post .... I need to replace two front tyres (Dunlop Sport Maxx A) for my 2008 SL (17" 225/45front 245/45Rear) and about to purchase the Continental ExtremeContact DW (17") set for $915 for Tirerack (delivered) and just got offer from local JackQuickfixTyre for my front tyre as follow (not yet bargain): 1. Michelin Pilot Sport 3 for $230/tyre 2. Continental SportContact 3 for $285/tyre 3. Dunlop Sport Maxx TT for $315/tyre Any recommendation would be great. Thanks heap
  5. First of all, it is my first post so thanks everyone in this forum for these great infos. I just bought the 2008 IS250 SL (36000km) and need to replace the two front tyres (Dunlop Sport Maxx A) due to punchure and its wear/tear. As Continental does not have DW stock in Australia, is there a risk of expensive replacement if one tire blow and not repairable, I mean whether I have to replace the tire in pair if this happen? (unless I stock spare and hope AUS dollar is always high). Hi WestlerHill123, how are your DW tyres on the road so far, I am interesting in noise level and bumpy road feedback? thanks heap.
