  1. Depends what your using it for and if you want to have a bit of fun with the color of your car with our getting it sprayed. Try getting away with a change of color with a good spray job for under $8,000 and then your stuck with that color. yeah i do understand your point but then again i like my colour :D not a fan of chaning colours really like my above edited post i must say it does look good but for me 4K will go for an exhaust i recon what business do you run??? is it car related??? so you use your car as promo etc?? As did I :D Exhaust was first for me... Then mixing it up for Auzrun. Check out www.auzrun.com A lifestyle rally similar to the Gumball 3000/Cannonball runs in the states and Europ but here in Australia. A great bit of fun and a great chance to socialize with some great people with nice cars.

  3. For something like that I would say yes unless you can use it as a tax deduction as I can with the business I run but for a standard wrap your only talking between $2,000 and $4,000 which is very reasonable... They can even do just sections of the car like the front bar, bonnet and front quarter pannels for a lot less... Check out Exotic Kustoms, they are awesome at what they do and have wrapped anything and everything with 4 wheels, 2 wheels and boats!
  4. Just under $5,000 for the entire wrap... Try get a respray anywhere near that and you see one of the reasons why I've done this and other wraps before... Plus it protects the hell out of the entire car!
  5. Hi Guys, Just got the IS-F re-wrapped (now it's third time). I took it from a Matte/Satin Black to a Brushed Chrome look. Under the right light it looks fantastic and has a slight reflectiveness to it and in the day it looks great as it's not a standard color that Lexus do. The guys who did it are in Melbourne and called Exotic Kustoms, they can wrap any car any color and also certain texturs which is pretty cool! I'm going to get it re-wrapped again before the Auzrun event that it will be going in but haven't decide what to do yet. I'm sure a bit of research will make it easy to decide what to go with.
  6. For Auzrun or the events O'Neil track days? Auzrun wise, yes anyone can come along after we have a chat with the two people who will be joining us (in that team) and making sure they are the right type of people for the run... What type of car are you thinking? Yes there are limited spots. 18 remaining as we are capping this event at 40 entrants. If you want a complete outline just drop me a line at ross@auzrun.com and I can send you over an outline.
  7. You should take it down to an Events O'Neil track day at eastern creek! The guys who runs it there is Luke, he also has an IS-F. Such a great track for the car and not hard on the brakes either... You'll have an awesome time and REALLY get to appreciate how good the car actually is after doing a couple of laps.
  8. Very similar mate but with a few differences to ensure we all have a safe time and actually make it from Melbourne to the Sunny Coast. If you want to drop me an email to ross@auzrun.com I can send you a bit of an outline if you like. How do you like your IS-F? Have you had it on the track before?
  9. Hi All, This is a note to all IS-F owners regarding Australias first and only Lifestyle Rally event... At the end of the day we buy these cars to enjoy them as most of us have worked dam hard to get something like an IS-F. So with that I thought I might share with all the IS-F owners (as I am one) something that you may be interested in enjoying an awesome week with some great people and of course, your IS-F. Check out www.auzrun.com for more information or drop me a line. A small teaser of the Auzrun DVD thats coming out in less than two weeks as well (this was shot from lsat years event from the 280+ hours of footage we got).
  10. What did something like that set you back?
  11. I know, I need to find a clip that it does although without professional sound equipment it's a bit hard. The wraps are awesome and these days you can do nearly anything you want. I noticed your in Melbourne, go an see the guys at Exotic Kustoms, they are in Melbourne and have wrapped my car 3 times. Every time I have pealed it off it looks like a brand new car. They can also touch up the chips before they put the wrap on too. Talk to Nick who runs the place there.
  12. I don't have any with just the sound of the car. Only thing I could find was this: Although it's a little hard to hear over the tyres...
  13. Hi Guys, Just came across this forum and thought it was fairly appropriate to join and share a few pictures of my IS-F. I picked it up new in December 2009 and have done 64,000km in it since including about 8 track days. 6 sets of Tyres and two brake changes later it's still running fantastic! Over the past year or so I have had some fun (as my business allows me to do so) with wrapping the car in different colors and stickers on it. At the moment it's a black and white sheriff looking IS-F and will be wrapped in Chrome in a couple of weeks once again for a bit of fun. In terms of mods on the car, I have only taken out the center muffler (nearly exactly in the middle of the car) and replaced it with a straight through pipe and have taken out the two rear dual exhausts and had one straight through exhaust either side increasing the power by about 7% at a cost of only $600 (fuel economy has not noticeably moved). So here are a couple of pics as to what it has looked like over the past year or so and I couldn't have picked a better car to do it with.
