I’ve heard good things about Linear Rossa in Fairfield but never been there myself. -
Hi all I picked up a (used) 2013 RX450H a few months ago and I'm really loving the smoothness of the vehicle so far. However, I've noticed that when coasting downhill, and when the brakes are not applied, the engine doesn't switch off - the fuel consumption figures are about 3-4L/100km when coasting, and when I come to a complete stop at the bottom of the hill, the readout is infinityL/100km as the engine is running. This is also when I can actually feel the engine running as the car is now stationary. The engine then switches off after a few seconds. Is this normal? Not sure if I've only just noticed now or if this is a new development indicating an issue. Thoughts / comments much appreciated!

Dropped my car in for a 105,000km service at Lexus of Blackburn and mentioned the issue. They recommended an injector flush, which I agreed for $125. They then advised that I engaged manual mode and stuck it in 2nd gear, and redlined it for a good 5 seconds. This seems to have solved the issue. It might be too soon to tell, but I'll report back in a week!

How much did you guys pay for roof racks? Are they easy to install? Is this a reasonable price? http://www.orsracksd...-roof-rack.html Really only getting this for the odd item from Ikea (large, but light items <30kgs) and it will only be on the car when I need it (assuming its easy to install and remove as needed) so noise doesn't concern me. Any other cheaper alternatives that won't damage the roof of my car would be good as well.

Hi guys Picking up a used 2007 IS250 this weekend and have the option of taking up a National Warranty Company (Sentinel Pack) at cost. There are claim limits and they don't seem to be all that generous ($3000 each per claim for gearbox and engine). What do you guys reckon? There are some bad reviews online about this warranty provider (but every product will cop bad reviews at some stage), but do your IS250s give you any issues that I should be wary of? Should I bother with warranty? Planning on doing oil changes myself but can't do that without voiding the warranty. It has a full service history Lexus and I have called the service centre to confirm that. Thoughts appreciated!
