  1. The short cable I tried was very short - 30mm cable, 90mm overall including plugs. About 90mm of cable would be the minimum that would work.
  2. nice what you think of it and what car did you previously have Previously drove an IS200 (which I never upgraded to a 250 as I preferred the driving position and view in the 200 (in particular for reversing). Kept the IS200 which my wife now drives. CT200 drives well but it is taking time to master the gadgets. Hard copy manuals are very detailed but soft copy (pdf) would help for searches. All I can find on line are US manuals and many of the features are different.
  3. I tried a very short cable but found that difficult to plug the phone into and then not long enough to put the phone in the cradle. Best soultion was a retractable cord which fits under the cradle, just leaving the docking plug exposed. Then by pulling out a litle cable from the retractable roll, the phone sits securely in the cradle. Works for me. Ebay is a good source of cheap retractable cables.
  4. now driving a CT200h - with a lot to learn about its many features
