  1. Nice mod! Looks pretty sweet, but those first two photo angles give me a headache! What made you decide to go the SMD route instead of some 6K filament-based globes?
  2. I recall that people on here have switched to Bendix General CT pads with a good improvement in dust levels http://www.bendix.com.au/content/general-ct-1
  3. Hey guys, Just an update on battery warranties - The battery in my late 08 IS250 died this morning (2 cells failed apparently, only registering 8volts) The Lexus DriveCare/NRMA operator advised the warranty on batteries for the IS series is 4yrs from date of first registration - ie the original standard factory warranty. NRMA came out this morning and replaced it with one of their $199/650CCA batteries free of charge, no funds paid upfront by me - The bill is sent to Lexus. The chap also remarked that the Panasonic battery Lexus use in the IS is usually pretty hardy, he doesn't see too many of them fail compared to the cheaper batteries used in the Subaru and Hyundais parked on either side of me. It was all swiftly taken care of, no paperwork needed, I was pleasantly surprised! [edit - double checking the battery model number (4504) actually shows it is a 650CCA unit, not 600CCA as I thought!)
  4. Indeed it is! IMO, it should have been a standard fitment to the Sport and Sports Luxury models...
  5. Nice! I'm in the USA right now driving a 2012 Ford Edge, it's not bad for a ford, but makes me miss my love - my Lex! I've spotted some 250's, a lot of 350's and the occasional IS-F on the freeways... But there's a big AMG presence where I am right now (Salt Lake City, Utah), I'm seeing CLS55s, C63s and E63s frequently, all with deep dish 19s or 20s - HOT! The cars are all looking good, boys! Hope to try and make another meet when I get back :)
  6. Ahh thats right near my folks place! What do you think of the feel between stock vs S-Tech? Has the ride quality been compromised a lot?
  7. Since it's all guys on here (I think?) who rock up anyway, hooters? (Hot wings man, it's all about the hot wings!) That said, I'm out from Sept 28 - Nov 6th inclusive as I'll be in the US again...
  8. Looks like a good meet, guys! I wasn't in Sydney so couldn't make it, my folks only live up the road from the RSL too! What problems did you guys have getting in? (I signed up again as I can't get the password for my old account, I was using a saved cookie on a shared work toughbook)
