  1. See you later guys, my beloved ISF is gone, it's been great while it lasted. I needed a bigger car and the RX wasn't for me, not Merc or Beemer so over to the dark side. Infiniti FX50 S, carrying a 5L V8, gotta say it fits the bill. I'm sure I'll be back. Have fun.
  2. As I am looking for new tyres soon, I thought it would be good to have the information in the one thread. Basic information, car year, manufacturer, sizes, how many km's they lasted or you think they are good for and some general thoughts. Also if anyone has heard any recommendations or what they intend to use next. Me first obviously. 2009 Car OEM tyres were Bridgestones, RE050A, 225/40 and 255/35. Lasted about 20K. Not much to say, the tyres were pretty good, I was just disappointed in the km's from them. Next Set. Michelin Pilot Super Sports, 245/35 and 265/30. Currently at 30K with another 4 or 5K left. Excellent tyre, pricey but a definite step up from the Bridgestones in handling or is that the size change? I like the fact I'm getting around 35K from them. Over to you guys. Donald
  3. What size did you go for and can I ask how much they were? Is that a new Tyre, Michelin Pilot + sport cup?
  4. Hi Elgin, How are you going with the headers? Donald
  5. The Valet put me straight into the best spot at the hotel, heard me coming and just pointed me right in. I think he liked it. I know these guys see a lot of nice cars but he liked the ISF sound and looks, classy yet understated as he put it. Interesting too, everybody walking in and out had a good look and there was the usual comments, what is it?
  6. If @ me, no track for my car, although a lot of city stop/start driving as in 5 days a week.
  7. Congratulations on your new car, great colour. Yes, let's get together soon. After your headers are installed Elgin.
  8. This is exciting, can I ask who's fitting them? We will have to get together soon!
  9. As mentioned, I've just had my front done again, first set was 20K second lasted 28K, a bit longer due to driving in manual more often. First rear set will be at around 55K and been quoted $2100.00.
  10. I'm at 29k on my Pilot SS, 245/35 and 265/30, there's around 5-7k let in them. Expensive, but I only got 20K out of the OEM Bridgestone and the Pilot is a far superior tyre IMO.
  11. Yep, i'd have quotes ranging from $1100.00 to $2400.00. I've had one company unable to quote because the ISF wasn't on their system. You've got to shop around, that's for sure.
  12. You can get one from "Sewell" in the States but they are very expensive and so is the delivery but it's the right product and it will be quality. Here's the link. http://is.sewellparts.com/accessories-catalog/Exterior/IS350-2013/1878.html Good luck.
  13. Welcome, looking forward to some pics.
