Thanks, great post its what got me on to this forum. Its the camera bit now. I gues it would work using a oem camera might see if i can locate one from salvage yard from written off vehicle. I would be great to hear from someone who knows if any particular after market camera will work. Thanks

IS250 09. I find lots here regarding hacks for video but can’t quite find what I am looking for. First off lets get this out of the way “I am towing a caravan with my IS250” there I said it and I’m ready for the flack! The car already has a reversing cam and sat nav screen It seams I can hack so that the reversing camera is on all the time, not sure this can be done on the 09 model but am willing to give it a go. Question is, does anyone know if I can send an image onto the screen using the reversing camera wire. Ie another camera mounted looking at the blind spot of the caravan, the two cameras one OEM and another switched over when coupled to the caravan. Is the oem reversing camera a standard video signal? You help would stop me from being even more stupid and mounting those horible extending mirrors so i can see whats behind. Thanks
