  1. manage to fix this problem. i removed the sat nav unit in the boot, then refitted it, and it all worked.
  2. i ended up fitting a set of aftermarket 20's. sorry i don't know how to post pics.
  3. after finally getting back to trying to fix this. i tried to reload the cd into the carrier in the boot and found that i cannot eject the cd. also on the unit in the dash the screen is not working when the menu, destination & map buttons are pushed. checked around fuses and cannot find any that are designated to the satnav system. thanks Phil
  4. after having a flat battery, i found that the electric windows and sunroof did not operate correctly. i did a google search and was able to fix this with a re-learn procedure. i've now found that the satnav is not working either, but cannot find a re-learn procedure for this. can anyone help. it does have the latest upgrade fitted by lexus. thanks phil.
  5. the brake warning light came on in my rx330 and i found that the brake fluid was very low. so i topped it up and thought all was ok. it lasted about 2 weeks and came on again. fluid was very low again. i jacked the car up to check for any visible leaks and none were found. after doing a google search i found there was an issue with master cyliner seals and the fluid leaks back into the booster. i also found thet there was a recall on this vehicle for this particular problem. as i am not the original owner, where do i stand? should i still be covered and if so, will they cover the booster replacement as well? due to the fluid leaking into the booster this will affect the rubber diaphram. cheers Phil
  6. i have the lexus roof mounted dvd player in our rx 330, we bought the lexus 2nd hand and didn't recieve the log books or instructions for the dvd etc. i was wondering what the 3 wiring plugs down below the centre console were for. they are red, yellow and white. is there anyway of playing the sound through the factory stereo instead of the kids having to put on headphones. ( which they don't like doing ) thnaks phil.
  7. can't even begin to compare the difference in ride between the territory & the lexus. one thing i have noticed with the lexus is that it has a little rattle when first started until oil pressure builds up. it does have new synthetic 5/30w engine oil and a new filter. but i think i'll change to a genuine filter to see if that fixes it.
  8. can anyone tell me if the 19" factory rx350 wheels will go onto a 2004 rx330 thanks Phil
  9. hi, i have just joined the site, previously i had a is200 sports luxury, 6 speed, and found it a great car to drive. then the 2 kids came along and found it too small in the boot to fit the pram, so went for a territory, after owning the territory for a few years i really wanted to get back into another lexus. so i have just bought a black 2004 rx330 sports luxury with 68,000 km on it. cheers Phil
