  1. Tow bar / ball was ordered from USA Wiring was ordered from UK Lexus (it is a factory option in EU countries.
  2. I have installed one on my CT200h. you can order the parts from UK Lexus! PM for information. Photo is here : https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151585400695448&l=4dcfa850ee
  3. My Best tank was 4.2L/100KM. filled up 39.5L but have done 900km.
  4. To carry a bike on a CT200h, My friend have bought a roof rail and roof rack from rackcity.com.au, ended up cost him over AUD$700 for the rack rail and the bike holders. There is nothing wrong using a roof bike rack, but the height of your car after carrying the bikes will 100% stop you entering any undercover car park. So I ended up didn't go for the roof rack option. I moved to look for bike rack for hatch back, but i don't like most of them are blocking the number plate and the tail lights. I spotted a very good bike rack overseas and I would like to share for everyone who want to carry bikes with you CT200h. I can enter undercover car park as long as height allowance is 2.2meters (i think 2.1 meters will do for flat bar bike). please see my post here for the pictures and details. http://blog.howardtang.com/2012/03/found-a-cool-bike-rack-for-ct200h/
  5. L stands for Litre 5L/100km means you need 5 Litre of fuel for 100km travel. your fuel consumption is very close to me. I was reading an oversea forum, the tank of CT200H is 45L. When the low fuel warming light comes on, it still has approximately 10L. someone could still run for another 200KM after the low fuel warming light comes on and filled in 44Litre (yes only 1 Litre of fuel left in the tank). I am still running my first tank. I am trying to get 800KM before the low fuel warming come on.
  6. how far can you go in a tank when always in Sport mode?
  7. I drive around 50km a day during busy peak hours. mixed with city and freeway drive. I read somewhere about how to save fuel on a Prius so I am using the same method. You speed up to 10km/h more than the speed limit on the road and control the throttle. when you see the traffic light is red, try release the throttle earlier and break slowly earlier to let it recharge the battery. here are the some of the photos i taken about my fuel consumptions. 8. I had my CT200h for 2 days. Dealer has given me a full tank of fuel come with the new car. I have already done 277km. 4.8L/100km and after 277km the curising range still showing 540km. look like protentially i can get 800km out of a tank. how about yours? btw. this forum is very quiet! where are the CT200h owners go?
  9. Pearl White and the Sport Luxury (without the sport pack). nice choice did you find anything negative about the CT? i went for a test drive with my mate as he was intrested in getting it he was impressed by the chassis handling but there was abit of road noise and engine noise which turned him away I have driven the very first Pruis (1999 model). compare to a 10 years ago, Toyota/Lexus has improved a lot. 1. you cannot expect a fast acceleration, from my point of view, it is a very good car. 2. I specially requested the dealer if i can take it for test drive in a National Park. I took the demo car for a spin at national park, the handling was awesome! I am confident to say it is a lot better than the Prius. 3. if you hear engine noise, you must be pushing the car very hard. I found the car was noisy only when i tried to push it hard. otherwise, it is a very quiet car. I have been looking around for a fuel saver car.... BMW 320D, Merc 250CDI, VW GTD all in my list.....however, disel engine is 10 times more noisy than CT200h and not to say the engine vibration. yeah i pick CT200h is because i am getting old. i don't need to race with someone at the light. otherwise, I think i will get the Merc 250 CDI (5.3L/100km 0-100km only 7 seconds) compare to CT200h (4.1L/100km 0-100 10.3 seconds). another reason i picked ct200h over other european cars is because of the equipments (options) in the car. Sport luxury model comes with LED head lamp, Sun-roof, active cruise control, keyless entry, dvd, sat nave, reverse camera, parking sensors, leathers...........(the list is too long).... Lexus also provides loan car when your car need to be serviced. where other brand doesn't offer that. which mean i have bought a car with 4 years hassle-free period while other manufacturer only offer 2 years - 3 years warranty. and only 2 years road side assistant. So.... somehow I have became a Lexus fan. Ask your friend to get a CT200h, As long as he doesn't need the speed, I am sure he will love the car or the brand. I did a rough calculation, 4 years road side assistant, loan car service, 4 years warranty, (plus i have 3 years free services in my deal) which potentially save me over $5000 in 4 years terms compare to other manufacturer.
